Dr Sharlyne Sekran completed her medical degree at Deakin University in 2017. She undertook her early postgraduate training in the hospital system, gaining broad experience in emergency medicine, critical care, paediatrics, and women’s health. Over the past few years, Sharlyne has worked in rural and regional communities, further developing her skills across a wide range of clinical settings.

Sharlyne values continuity of care, preventive health, and a holistic approach to medicine. She has a special interest in chronic disease management, women’s health, paediatrics and lifestyle medicine. She is passionate about providing patient-centred, compassionate care and is excited to support the health and wellbeing of the Surf Coast community.

Outside of work, Sharlyne enjoys cooking, yoga, spending time with her family, and going on adventures with her dog.
