Dr Alexander Scrivener
Dr Alex completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne, gaining his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2016. Alex spent three years practicing hospital medicine at Western Health, in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Aged Care and working all over Australia whilst expanding his experience and skills.
Alex achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2021, spending his training years working around the Surfcoast and Geelong.
Alex is friendly, empathetic and dedicated to his patient’s care with a strong focus on preventative healthcare and lifestyle medicine.
Outside of work you will find Alex running, riding, surfing and camping around the Surfcoast and enjoying life with his young family and dog, Lola.
Alex enjoys all facets of medicine and enjoys the diversity of General Practice with a special interest in:
- Child and Adolescent health
- Sexual Health and LGBTQIA+ medicine
- Skin and skin cancer medicine (skin checks and procedures)
- Women’s and Men’s health.
