A Lifetime of Protection
Immunisation is a safe and effective way to protect against a range of serious diseases. Surfcoast Medical Centre provides a comprehensive immunisation service for patients of all ages, from infants to adults. We follow the National Immunisation Program (NIP) Schedule, which provides free, essential vaccines at different life stages. Our practice nurses and GPs are highly experienced in administering vaccines and providing clear, evidence-based information.
Our immunisation services include:
- Childhood Immunisations: Full service for all scheduled vaccines from birth to 4 years.
- Adolescent Immunisations: Including school-based program catch-ups.
- Adult Immunisations: Such as whooping cough (pertussis) boosters for new parents/grandparents, and shingles or pneumonia vaccines for older adults.
- Travel Vaccinations: See our dedicated Travel Medicine page for more information.
- Occupational Health Vaccinations: For workers in high-risk professions.
We ensure all vaccinations are recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).
To discuss your or your child’s immunisation needs, please book an appointment with our practice nurse or your GP.
